Favourite colour(s)
My favourite colour is blue. You’ll know that just by walking in my front door, because it’s blue. So is my living room and my hallway. That leads to my younger daughter’s blue and lavendar room, my sons’ blue and green bedroom, and the blue bedroom I share with my husband.
My other favourite colour is green. You’ll probably figure that out because my kitchen is green, my bathroom is green, and my oldest daughter’s bedroom is green.
And I must mention yellow. It’s another favourite, and it covers the walls of our family room and our main bathroom.
When we moved into our house, nearly all the walls were a subdued, sophisticated beige. But I’m not about subdued sophistication. I’m all about surrounding myself with colour. It just makes me happier.
Maybe someday I should paint over the brown paneling that’s covering the walls in the laundry room. Would that make me happier to do laundry?
