About Erin
Right now my life would seem pretty simple: I’m a stay-at-home mom of four great kids and I’m married to a children’s pastor. We’ve lived in Ontario, Canada, since 2005, but only one of us is Canadian. The parents were born and raised in California, and the three oldest kids were born in Oregon. You guess who’s the Canadian.
When I was in college, I thought I’d be making my way south of the US border, so I prepared for ministry and studied Spanish, but God has been moving us northward instead.
I like words, whether written or spoken, English or other. They’re great for expressing what you’re thinking, and they’re also one of my favourite things to use for decoration.
I am a do-it-yourself-er. I’d rather try to make everything from scratch if I have the time. And I don’t just mean food; I also mean things I can sew, art I could create myself, or even a home renovation. I absolutely love the creative process, from the dreaming to the developing to the doing.
